Noragami: Things That The Rabo Arc Spoiled

We all know that the Rabo Arc in season one was not one of Noragami's best moments. Not only did the Arc not exist at all, but it also killed the pace the anime had been going at. A lot of viewers even said that this arc was downright boring. But more than that, I feel it spoiled a lot of things that showed up in the manga and seaspn two and there were even several nonsensical things in it too. Now this is something I have always been aware of, but this time when I was doing my usual binge rewatch Noragami with Koka Noodles, I realized that this issue has to be seriously addressed. So here goes nothing.

1) Hiyori's Memory Loss

Hiyori's memory loss was a very important part in the story that originally takes place during the Underworld arc. Nothing wrong with making the girl lose her memory twice, right? Actually, there is something very wrong about that. In the original story line, Hiyori lost her memory even though she firmly believed she wouldn't and that she was different. The only one's to know that she lost her menory were herself and Tenjin and group. What was important about this was Hiyori feeling the utter agony and regret for having forgotten people so precious to her, understanding what her life would be like without them and realizing their importance. Yato not finding out was also very important because it created the need in him to go back, the desperation to make Hiyori not forget him. That was the impact of her original memory loss. However because of the Rabo Arc, for only anime watching fans, the second time she lost her memory was not that much of a big deal and the impact lost it's effect. She just lost her memory again, right?

2) How Stupidly Unbelievable The Arc Was

Alright, I know it's a problem that a lot of people think anything is possible in anime. Yeah, anything is possible in Fairy Tail, we get that (I mean Gajeel was ressurected). But like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and other good anime and manga, Noragami follows a set of rules. Delving deep into mythological Shinto, although it is supernatural immersed, Noragami is a strict no-nonsense story. Therefore stealing Hiyori's memories, bringing back a dead kami with a spell, him absorbing a friggin ayakashi cloud and Hiyori getting her memories back with Yato's smell is borderline riduculous. I can't stand for it!

3) The Use of The Mask Ruined

We all know the masks were used by Fujisaki, Nora and our darling Ebisu. However, because Rabo did miracles with his mask, such as absorbing ayakashi without touching them, not getting blighted by the storm of ayakashi and whatnot, Ebisu was expected to do similar miracles. However, the mask has to be stuck on an ayakashi to be controlled. The mask was used in a way that shouldn't have been possible. This also made certain people view Ebisu as inferior to Rabo. Non manga readers, that is.

4) Nora and Rabo Teaming Up

Nora and Yato have a very complicated relationship and as much as I know you guys have the propensity to despise her, she would never do anything to put Yato's lfe in danger because Yato's life is still very important to Fujisaki. Therefore her teaming up with Rabo is unthinkable.

5) Nora's Water Ability

We all know what it means when a drop of water falls. Nora is here. However, until the Underworld arc no one was supposed to know what that signified. Also, for every person she is a shinki of, Nora is known to only have a water form under Yato's name, Hiiro. The fact that Rabo weilded the same power made Yato lose the special spot light.

6) Brainwashing Yato into Remembering

We all know Rabo went "Remember, remember, remember. Let me friggin hypnotize you." However, this had a negative effect on Yato's assumed strength by the fans. It gave the impression Yato doesn't wish to recall his past and he is only strong as a Magatsukami. It wasn't a really smart idea.

7) Rabo's Unoriginal Back Story

I personally felt Rabo's back story was an imiation of Tenjin's. Michizane is known as one the great three vengeful spirits and that's why he became a kami. A human banished and left alone to die, but his death caused disasters so people worshipped him to curb his anger and thus the kami of education came into being. Rabo's was a little too similar to Tenjin's. A messanger killed and then worshipped to curb his anger. However, I think this was really cutting it close. Manga readers who have been avidly following the story will find this back story incredulous. This kind of back story and every shinki might as well wind up becoming kamis.

8) Rabo Death Telepathy

When Rabo died he disentegrated into nothing. OK. Now, the important part is that all the Kami stop their work, look up into the sky and say, "One of us is no more." OK, and how did you know? Did you get a phone call? Is this how it is whenever a Kami dies? Wow, do you guys stand in awe whenever one of you get's reincarnated. The computer program kami down the street paid her respects to Ebisu when he died because she stopped in awe to look up at the heavens.

9) Yato as a Partner

It is hard to believe Yato would've had a partner once upon a time othe than Nora. Yato was Fujisaki's pawn and therefore only stayed with Nora, doing whatever Fujisaki asked of him. With a connection that troublesome it's not right that Yato had a partner Fujisaki did not know of or Rabo did not know of Fujisaki's existence. Given Fujisaki's hate for Kami, the mere idea of even coming close to Rabo must be sickening. So, find a partner approved by daddy first.

10) Nora as a Shinki

When Nora shows Yato the name Furuhime, Yato's eyes widened meaning that he recignized the name, meaning even way back then, Rabo had naned her.Who wouldn't? How many people can find a murderous shinki that won't sting them? However, at that time, Rabo couldn't have possibly naned her and used her because she was being used by Yato as his shinki. Yup dead end there. He don't have no shinki, not one strong enough to kill Kami that is.

Well that's all for now. I had much more on my mind but I couldn't recall while writing this post. If I remember anything, I'll edit and repost!

Naruto: To Hyuuga Neji

My favourite character in Naruto and the man I loved the most in Naruto. Hyuuga Neji broke through all my loyalty barriers, killed all my bias lists and nearly climbed to the top (although, he couldn't beat Yato. That Kami is staying at the top) I truly loved him, he so much as blinked and opened his mouth and I started squealing like a fan girl and falling off whatever I was sitting on. I finally got free time to watch Naruto Shippuden and run through the Fourth Shinobi War Arc. I cried, I sobbed, I let out heart wrenching cries of pain when I watched Neji die yesterday. I loved him so much and I was stuck in a limbo for the longest time yesterday. So this post is dedicated to Hyuuga Neji and my love for him.

When I was introduced to Neji I was intrigued by his character, I wondered who he was and I was a little creeped out by his eyes at first, but I instantly related him to Hinata. I found his power kind of weird but also really awesome and everyone treated him with respect and anyone could tell he was really powerful. I was so enthusiastic to meet this new character.

And then he did this to Hinata and I wasn't so sure I liked him so much any more. The way he spoke and his stupid philosophy pissed me off beyond belief. He was going in the exact opposite direction of the typical Naruto ideology. And the fact that he could almost kill his own cousin without flinching made me even angrier, I mean, I really love my cousins you know.

And then I learned of his back story and I thought, OK, this guy has a decent reason after all, but that doesn't give him an excuse to keep spouting out stuff like predestined fate in Naruto's face. I mean, Naruto should be the last person you say something like that to. Oh well, at least he was no longer a shitty guy in my eyes.

When Naruto punched him and knocked sense into him and he finally turned over and learned the truth about his father's death. I was so happy, it meant that I didn't need to be mad at his character any more cause I really liked him. He was just so interesting. I was so ready to add this guy to my list of good looking guys in Naruto because I have a thing for guys with long hair and pony tails.

Neji then fought Kidomaru and I was squealing all over the place cause he was so amazing and powerful and good looking and all I could think was: "How on earth is this guy still genin?" I really wanted to leap into the screen and hug him. By then, I loved his Byakugan and his Gentle Fist.and no longer thought anything about him was weird (cause we came across Orochimaru and that guy was just plain revolting, urgh)

When Kidomaru almost killed him I started crying. I then realized that I was seriously in love with this kid (although he was like ages younger than me). I didn't want him to die, I had just fallen in love with him and even though he was almost on the verge of death he was still so badass and powerful, I loved watching Neji prove to others how much he had changed.

When Naruto showed up in Naruto Shippuden, I squealed over how good looking he was. I squealed over Gaara and Sai's appearance but the best appearance by far was Hyuuga Neji's. I screamed and didn't stop for a whole moment. He was so powerful and good looking and just amazing that I thought I could lose my mind. Like OH MY GOD!

Then he just continued being everywhere but there was just never enough of him and I loved him so much. My Naruto experience was made satisfactory with those little moments that Neji would take the screen.

He went shirtless with his hair open and he was wet and my brain short circuited. Yeah, I was at a loss of words.

I've always loved his protective big brother act when it would come to Hinata. Naruto honestly had to cross a high hurdle before he got to Hinata.

I also loved the way Hinata and him could fight side by side. For some reason, when characters have siblings, you just see more of them and Neji was ready to do anything to protect his cousin (....I want a boyfriend like him....)

I was so pissed at Zetsu for pretending to be Neji, thank god Sakura got rid of him. No one dares to pretend to be Neji and get away with it!

That jounin vest did some serious justice to his looks and he was just so powerful during the Fourth Shinobi War that it gave me goosebumps and it really happened.

And then...he died...I didn't know what to do...I just felt so heartbroken...I still don't know what to do without him.

Watching Life leave his eyes beat the sadness I felt when I watched Gaara, Jiraiya, Itachi, Minato and Kushina die. It was just so painful.

No matter what happens, I will continue to love this man who died for his friends, family and beliefs. To Hyuuga Neji, Farewell.

Annoying Things Anime/Manga Fans Do #1

That's right, you got it. Character bashing. I really dislike it. Especially when it involves people's OTPs. Everyone has got that one OTP that just never made it big on the screens. Like Sasunaru, Nali, Graylu, ShikaIno, KikuchiYoshioka, RinIzumo, SayaKai, GeneMai, ShintaniMisaki, SebaCiel, HarukaSeiko, YatoBisha, MikaYuu, Ereri, YamaShizu, NineLisa, YoshiHaka and so much more! But that does not mean you bash whoever that person ends up with, or whoever they are the most paired with. Yes, you may say, 'no, I do not like this couple. I don't ship them'. But do not, for the love of Yatogami, start bashing other characters.

I came across a Sasunaru blog that full on bashed Sakura and Hinata for having ruined the most obvious couple in the whole series. Like seriously people? Whatever have these two done to you? You don't have to like them, but stop screaming online for Kofuku's sake!

Stop, like honestly, stop bashing Juvia Lockser and Hiro Mashima just because Gruvia is is canon. I get it, you ship GrayLu/Grayza/Gratsu/Navia/Lyvia/Gavia. But don't blackmail the author on twitter to change a ship he's already determined on and for those of you who were wondering, yes, Hiro Mashima was electronically harassed by GrayLu fans.

I ship 'em. I really do. I mean, in the manga especially, these two were so cute. But I've seen people bash Rin for trying to steal her from Shima or bashing Izumo because Shiemi and Rin are perfect for each other 'why do you keep getting in the way?' and I've seen people bash Shiemi for getting in between these two. Really, you guys?

Those who have read the ghost hunt manga tend to ship Gene and Mai in general and it then just becomes really complicated because Gene is dead, Naru's twin and Naru and Mai are said to get married later on into the future. Bashing and complicated fanfictions ensue with Masako getting dragged in whether she wants to or not.

They were cute, really, really cute but he just kept getting Usui's way and Usui kept getting in his way. Need I explain more?

Yes, I shipped Haruka and Seiko from Lovely Complex quite a bit. They're practically inseparable. But the bashing came even for this very little known couple. **sigh**

I'm not even gonna go there. Way too complicated.

These last two got some pretty mean bashing and I felt really bad, I mean, grow up. I don't ship them, but I'm not turning into a Kpop extremist fan!:

Anyway, I think my message got through...teehee, I hope no one hates me after this....

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: Character Sketch (Contains Spoilers)

So, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, or My Little Monster happens to be my favourite Romance Anime and Manga. There's just something about it that I love so much that just can't compare to Kaichou wa Maid Sama or Kimi no Todoke. The anime isn't really that great in comparison to the manga since it really leaves us hanging, I mean "Hello? I'm still waiting for my second season!!" Alright, so this is the basic character sketch.

1) Mizutani Shizuku

Our main protagonist. 'Dry Ice', Shizuku whose only concern in life is getting good grades and earn money to support her family. Does she have any friends? No. Does she care? No. But underneath that cold and hard exterior is a little girl who has been abandoned and is curious beyond belief. Anti-Social 1: Dry Ice.

2) Yoshida Haru

The main lead guy. Yoshida Haru is a social outcast, that genius delinquent that everyone is scared of, heck, he's scared of everyone too. He has no idea when it comes to social cues and although he's violent towards everyone, all he's ever wanted was to be accepted and have a friend. Anti-Social 2: The Monster.

3) Natsume Asako

That internet addicted girl that only has virtual friends. Natsume Asako is a girl outcasted by other girls for being too pretty. She hates boys and is a loner who lives on the net and can't get good grades to save her life (unless Shizuku and Haru manage a miracle). She's really just a lonely girl with a lot of walls. Anti-Social 3: The Beauty

3) Sasahara Sohei

Probably the only person in the group not socially awkward. He's that guy that's too nice for his own good. He's that popular kid that plays baseball, is perfect just because he's the only normal person. He makes friends easily and loves helping people around him. He's the one person that doesn't find the group weird. Social 1: Lovable Kid

5) Chizuru Oshima

She's not friendless, she's just shy. Chizuru Oshima is kind, shy and is really easy to push around. She often tends to believe discord in the group is because of her. She fails to realize just how beautiful, smart and amazing she really is. She's rather sensitive and has an inferiority complex. Anti Social 4: The Shy Girl

6) Yamaguchi Kenji

Commonly know as Yamaken, he's a rather rich and arrogant kid who is infuriated when things are not as they are supposed to be. He constantly gets lost, is smart and is good looking. His major problem is that, being a high class kid, he is socially awkward and doesn't know how to deal with it. Socially Awkward 1: Lost Blonde.

7) Mitsuyoshi Misawa

Also known as Mi-chan, this guy is Haru's gangsta cousin, not really, he used to be a delinquent but now owns a game store. He's really weird in his own way, but he is unconsciously really nice to the point he ends up hurting people with how oblivious he is. Aside from the fact that we have never seen his friggin eyes (is he Aburame Shino's brother or something?) he's Social 2: The Big Brother

8) Yoshida Yuuzan

Obsessed with sweets and pretty things, Haru's older brother, hits us all with his gobsmackingly gorgeous face and then hits us with that damn anime 'evil-brother-I-am-so-Uchiha-Itachi' personality. He has a weird love hate with plenty of people and hates being compared. He's actually really shy and awkward although you cant tell at first. Socially Awkward 2: Sweets Maniac

9) Miyama Yuu

She stares, that's right. She stares and isn't afraid to bluntly say anything. She has a talent for keeping emotion out of her voice and just when you think she can't get any weirder, you find out that she is the only girl in the group with a boyfriend. She is otherwise quiet. She has her own shy and really girly side (which is kind of hard to imagine until you read the manga). Socially Awkward 3: Weirdo

10) Nagoya

Nagayo has one of the most important roles in the entire story, I mean, Haru and Shizuku walk down the aisle with him and Haru pauses the wedding ceremony just to get the chicken's bow tie (wait, how long do chickens even live?) . For some reason, if someone is frustrated or sad at school, this chicken is confided in. Center of Attraction: Nagoya

11) Yamaguchi Iyo

Full of herself, rich, believes that everyone is in love with her. You can so tell that Iyo is Yamaken's sister. Although she believes that she has everyone's attention she is actually extremely insecure (and extremely annoying when she is) she is always looking for the man of her dreams and can't really mingle with others. Anti Social 5: The Snob

12) Mizutani Takaya

Last but not least, this little boy who seems as equally emotionless as his older sister. Takaya plays an important role in the manga and grows up to be drop dead gorgeous! He actually ends up healing other people's wounds in the story. Forgetting the fact that he has a socially impaired family, Takaya is actually quite social and bold. Social 3: The Little Brother

I love this Manga/Anime!
